They got me for the max that waiver would pay which was $3700 14 years ago. 
These are short tracks, too. It is important to get a quality lift, although, 
these are extremely simple and a  tip: Its weak spot is the charger. It won't 
take much percussion and its usually expensive. Mine is attached to the wall by 
velcro where it can't get hurt and it will pull off before yanking the wire 
loose inside the thing. For some reason many seem to come from Canada. If I had 
to pay out of pocket, I'd never afford  it but mine will lift my wheelchair off 
the floor and not strain. I can't say the same for the hoyer or any human aids. 
It is an incredibly safe people mover.
