I found this on him. Sadly I know for a fact he is not or I should say was not the oldest quadriplegic in America. Mr. Boyd, whom I am sure many will remember had just turned 80 when I last contacted him about six months ago. Wheelchair would know more about him, but I believe he was initially paralyzed in an airplane accident some 50 years ago. Having said that, however, living 56 years as a quadriplegic and then writing a book about it is an unbelievable accomplishment of which one should be proud. Sad to hear he passed away.
