The EPA devised a formula that gives the milage of vehicles. Has nothing to do
with reality. The formula has no hills or traffic so its just asking to be lied
to. I saw a '98 toyota land cruiser and a lady was telling some guy how it must
be nice to have a big car that gets good milage. I dunno what EPA ranked it at
but the guy said the car couldn't get better than 11 mpg unless you shut the
engine off. Don't trust the numbers. Check it in a test drive.

You can only compare the numbers that are shared with the gov on fuel
consumption. 4 cyc, 6 cyc and 8 cyclinder engines using injection and
computers.

Has anyone compared the mileage difference between a mini and a full size
van? When I bought my Ford E-150 back in '99 to my surprise, there was little
  difference in the two.
