It's the lowered floor with kneeling system. To get in I need to be on
level ground. I have also gotten into other similar, different make
kneeling systems. I have not heard of someone unable to get in.

I am getting ready to start looking again and happened to look through these
old e-mails.

Based on this e-mail you sit at 58 inches and you're able to fit into a
mini Dodge. What type of ramp or lift do you have?

My Dodge mini van's floor was lowered 8". My standing height is 58" or
5'9". I sit higher in my power chair than in the manual, and I have plenty
of head space.

I know this has been rehashed over and over again, but I was in getting
fitted for a new wheelchair and the therapist mentioned that there is a new
GMC minivan which can have the floor lowered 10 inches. I usually sit
around 57 1/2 inches, but am able to tilt back slightly in order to get into
a van. I am wondering if I might fit into such a van. It sure would be
great for the gas mileage, not to mention the parking.
