I remember when tizanadine was touted as the fix all. At that point it wasn't being distributed in the United States and myself and several other people lobbied FDA to speed up the process. Once it became available, I noticed it wasn't being used nearly as much as I thought it would be. In fact, when I inquired about using it myself, they told me that my medicine was effective enough and changing would probably be more problematic.
I have never found baclofen to be very sedated, I usually have problems with diazepam and dantrolene. I guess were all different.
