Be sure your bones are strong enough to stand on.  Also have the therapist
standing by in case you pass out!

I'm surprised that you were not taught that in rehab, as that is quite
common with chair users. Standing frames are good, but don't rush into it
until you have talked with a physical therapist before you try one.

Learn what needs to be done to strengthen your bones first.  Then as
always...
