I've had a SP for about 3yrs now and it is better. I get mine changed every
month the only problems I really have with mine is it leaks some but when I get
it changed it hurts some because my body heals so fast that it tries to heal
itself around the catheter and I get alot of calcium built up around the end of
it. But I am glad I did it the UTI's are alot less. And it is great to have
that area down below free... I hope it all goes well with yours...

last two years I might have had three small UIS, where in Texas there would be
three every four months.
I have it changed every six months, clean daily with natural saline solution
then apply small film of triple action antibiotic ointment. SP + H2O=0 UTIs.
When one is suspected I push fluids which generally clears it up. If still
suspected I am successful with UTI Clear and Colloidal Meso Silver for four
days.
Be sure to tape and lock SP secirly to your leg, and leave a small loop
between sight and tape. The lock last for about a week. Do you know how your
urethra is closed to prevent Willy leaking? Some people say just introducing
the SP to the body invites bacteria. I do not know because I am opposite.

Every once in awhile the top of Willy's head would get a little raw because

weeks because my bladder just hasn't been draining well in awhile now. Those of
