What you did is to use reason and logic and not medical advice. That is the way I run my quadriplegic life and have been successful by not listening to the doctors who told me I would never earn another $1 for the rest of my life. The reason I was able to accomplish being financially successful within the eight years of my paralysis was a philosophy very similar to what you will read on this link… Please click on this link http://boortz.com/more/commencement.html and if you like what he says it’s a good way to run your life… if his radio program is broadcast in your area … please listen as he has great knowledge… Roy Roy Abell President PIE*Medical International, Inc. 904-471-1200 after 1 p.m. EST http://www.mybowel.com "Solving chronic bowel problems with a new therapy enema kit that indicates it can restore normal bowel function with many people." Currently I am using a sheet, sheepskin, and a had to make sure no moisture seeps through to the mattress. I know this diminishes the benefits of the low air loss therapy, but that's the way I have my bed right now. About 10 months ago I developed a really strange rash. The doctors had no clue as to what was causing it, but the rash developed into small blisters and eventually busted. When this occurred, I used just a sheet over the mattress and this did facilitate the healing. I never thought about just using the cover which came with the mattress. Do you place a cover or sheet on top of them, so you don't lay directly on the rubber type material? thanks, DanH.
