I have a friend of mine that has been trying to convince me for the last four or five years to go out to St. Petersburg and try out the sailing boats they have which are adapted for high-level quadriplegics. A buddy of mine, who was on a ventilator, went through the training and was able to solo. "It was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life." He later told me.
