My heart goes out to you Naomi. I have chosen not to commemorate or marked the day of my injury. Now I celebrate the anniversary of my first entire day being able to breathe on my own once again, August 6.
It is amazing at how many friends will slowly but surely leave your side once something devastating like this occurs. I'll keep you in my thoughts and I sincerely hope you will keep us updated on your status. Since you seem to have extraordinary faith, I am wondering if you have been checking with your church about getting assistance. Faith-based communities offer some of the best assistance, at least in my experience. Good luck and I wish you well.
