Where are you in MD? Location can be key. I live on the ocean city and have a hard time finding anyone willing to do anything but if you live more into the cities, there is more population, aides, etc... there aren't many aides here and no one wants to drive from Salisbury b/c of the gas prices so like I said location is key but there are aides that do and will deal with those procedures. Good luck, Stacy

What duties can privately hired aides in Maryland perform? Can they do bowel care, deal with colostomies, catheterize, deal with SP caths, etc.? There was a news report a few weeks ago that said caregivers need to be licensed to perform such procedures.
