Why should issues that are thought provoking be hushed? As long as all can
be civil. Geez, can you imagine what has gone on in our human culture in
the last 25 years. The is a growing population of people who are of mixed race
and don't know which box to X when the question is asked. How would you like
to be faced with the same decision and what would you do? Accept the race
of your father or accept the race of your mother? It is a question of
society, not politics. Because of it, it finds its way into politics.

Best Wishes

I used to think like you Dan, but unfortunately I read quite a bit about the
history of race relations in our country and the reason Barack Obama is
considered black is because he has black blood in him. I wish it were
different,
but that's the way our society continues to see people of color. My niece
and nephew are considered to be Filipino, despite the fact that they are only
one fourth Filipino.
It just doesn't seem to be fair does it?

PS I'm sorry I stirred the pot. Next time I will keep my mouth shut.

I don't buy into the racist thing because repubs are notorious for voting
straight tickets. but I know plenty of Dems saying they can't be part of
electing a black man, now, they are not talking about John Mccain. And when
someone
says they can't vote for a black man, it is racist.
I've met John Mccain and I like him.
The election in November is a referendum on the past 8 years. Are you better
off with republican leadership in the white house? Another problem I have is
John Mccain isn't looking well. I do not want his vice president running
mate as president, "FER SHURRRR".

These are just my thoughts. Please do vote. I'm use to our process of

You might want to vote for someone that doesn't view the poor and disabled
as society's dregs. A lot of people don't see why it is important. I live in a
county where there is 11 different hospitals and yet, I can only go to one.
Three of the hospitals no longer have ER's so don't think you can get your
uninsured child in them.
Since I stopped working, and I'm no longer able to pay $545 a month for
health insurance, it has become apparent that I'm not welcome at medical
facilities. In attempting to cut ten percent from doctors pay on medicare itr
is
obvious that people without health insurance are being denied quality health
care. So, elect Mccain and sign your DNR like a real robopublican and keep
not
asking questions. If your just voting for someone not black, well, your
hopeless anyway.

john

It isn't like our votes actually count anyway.
If your rich, go ahead and vote for your money.

Actually I should have said it doesn't bother me at all. That would've been
more accurate.

Vote however you please. Doesn't really bother me, unless the Republicans
win, but all I can do is vote the way I see best. I'm sure that's what you're

PS I just hope everyone votes. I find it difficult to really complain
about something if you don't participate.

sure am glad that politics by and large have been left off this list this
year. I guess it's my choice whether I decide to read a signature with a
political statement or not. :-)
