I didn't think to ask before but how old is this bed? I've check both Medline's website and info on Serenity Model S-11266 semi electric bed.and saw no mention of your bed. Age of material can affect getting parts and components. Medline is the marketeer. Your DME is the retail/provider. I don't know who actually made your bed or what country is was made in. My cord that makes the bed move up & down got torn apart. It sort of got fixed. The head will go down & that is all it will now do on its own. I have called the store that sold me the bed & they want a $45 service to come out & see what they need to order. I know what needs replacing but they still want that money.
