I THINK you recall my history Danny since you & I have had these similar
battles.
I was treated twice. Summer of 2005 (one bug alone--forgot whether it was
Proteus Mirabilis or Psedemonas but I'm pretty sure it was the prior) then
Summer of 2006 (both BIG BAD BUGS -- PROTEUS MIRABILIS & PSEUDEMONAS). Both
times requiring I.V. antibiodics. SCARY with TWO pathogens running rampant
and AFTER bladder stone removal. :-( But IV antibiodics took care of
THEM. The earlier the better with how aggressive these pathogens are.

It's irrelevant how fast stones grow when an infection is present. Cuz, no
matter what, one has the infection.

Pseudemonas is one of THE BIG BAD PATHOGENS. Very uncool to "wait and see"
as it "grows and spreads and encapsulates." Been over this ground before of
discussing it here.

What does your "newer" Urologist think? Not that Drs CAN always think :-)
but it's up to him for treatment or looking out for your best interest. If
he doesn't think Pseudemonas isn't a big deal -- he's a fool. If you HAVE
the infection -- *preventatives* (H2O intake, Cranberry juice or tablets,
more Vitamin C) won't DO anything.
