Just being a quad means that almost every thing that can cause muscle spasms is at work, inside you, trying to cause spasms. You have diminished kidney function. You have hormonal imbalances that are no help to anything. Our bodies do not handle calcium well. A lot of our bodies function in such ways that most doctors can't understand why we are not in spasm constantly. If you look up the reasons and causes of spasms, we have almost every contributing factor. In most situations, it is a matter of dealing with enough magnesium and calcium and protein and vitamin C in your diet. You need to talk to your doctor. Your body my not use calcium wisely. It is a trade off with kidney function for a lot of us. Calcium can turn into stones and cause even more damage. I hope you respond to vitamin C. I wish you the best.

I take a full daily dose of Baclofen and Tizanidine. I haven't been able to see my doc yet, but I was wondering if any of you have had this problem or have I just been lucky up to now and this is a regular accurrance.
