Whenever I have changed my catheter in places other than I normally do, I've
seen to have a bad history of contracting UTIs. Try to increase your fluids
a little more and possibly at a little more calcium tablets to your regimen
for a couple of days.

If it's not a UTI, you might want to add in Achilles stretches if you're not
already doing so. I have a terrible time with spasms during my first three
years post injury, but we added a good bit of stretches which concentrate on
my Achilles tendons and this relieved quite a bit of my problems.
Just thought I would pass it on for anyone else who might have a problem
with spasticity. It's not a complete panacea, but it definitely helps. I
still take a significant amount of anti-spasmed medication, but I have
managed to lower that quantity down substantially.
