Yep, that's basically what I'm saying. Call, but use *67 so Mr. MacMac doesn't
get your phone number on his caller ID.

I'll tell you this much about mde... I use *67 to call my students' parents so
the kids don't get my number.

(Some of you now know who I am!)

If really interested in MacMac......rather than guess or do stealth work........
simply call him and get his social security number and do a background and
credit check and ask him for a list of references.

Best,

Paul

Subject: [QUAD-L] Creepy Caregiver?

Good Day Friends,

You all know me but at this time... or for this topic... I chose to use my
alias. I apologize for current anonymity. I hope this "anonymous" message
isn't as creepy as the one it's intended to address.

I would agree this person's email is quite suspicious considering it's being
sent to everyone individually Off-List rather than as an "announcement" for
available assistance On-List.

Since "Mac Mac," the <caringsciassistant>, provided a Cell#, I'm wondering if
call preceded by *67 might provide some info while masking your phone number?

I wouldn't want to do it outside his 623 area code or local area (no sense
paying for it).
