[QUAD-L] tilting shower chairs

Hi!  My husband is a c5,6 quad since a pickup truck accident a yr. ago.  I do all his care, with the help of our older children (we have 9).  A neighbor just took out our tub & put in a roll-in shower for us, now we need a tilting shower chair so I can do his showers by myself (a nurse comes 1x a wk. to help me now).  He has very little trunk stability, so I figured we need a tilting chair - anything reclining he tends to slide out of.  We have no insurance & no assistance with things like this, so we need to purchase the right things the first time.  Anyone know anything about these kinds of chairs?  I have the chance to buy an Ocean VIP tilting shower chair that is a 6 yr. old demo model for $400, with a new purchase price of $2,500.  Do you know anything about this particular brand?  Is it a good chair?  What kind of chair do you all use & what has worked well for you?  God has provided all of his other equipment, and someone donated enough money to buy this demo model.  I want to make sure I'm getting one that works for us - this sort of equipment is non-returnable - so I'm stuck if it isn't what we need.  Thanks for any suggestions you can give.  MomOfMany
