I use the Professional edition. It's the only one of the three that allows
for the creation of customized scripts and macros to execute multiple
actions with a single voice command. It's by far the most expensive of the
three options. The Standard or Preferred editions are fine for those simply
wanting to dictate text. For that matter, the free Speech Recognition
application that comes with Windows Vista also does a very good job for text
dictation. I advise anyone to try it first before spending money on any
version of NaturallySpeaking.

What version? Standard, Preferred or Professional? Standard is 
currently on sale for $50. I don't mind paying $50 but the other 
versions are way too expensive for me especially if I don't like it.
