Remote Transmitter (RT) Cars and Trucks are nothing new for training in rehab. May I suggest that you consider a 4- channel truck rather then a fast car? That is what we did, but not for anyone using a chincup. We used modified T-Bar handles which were easily grasp and could be operated with a closed fist. Back then we used a "ClodHopper" Truck with Mud Tires that could pull someone in a manual wheelchair with little effort.. I wish that I could help more. Hi all, it’s been some time since I was on the subscription list here, I’ve been meaning to do so for ages. A work question is what brings me back and hopefully someone may have already ‘invented the wheel’? I’m keen to know if anyone has done some modifications to suit a remote control for an electric (‘ toy’ size) car? No doubt you’ve all seen them at some stage – they move around at a hundred miles an hour with people controlling them by remote. This is for a young guy with a high level quad injury (chin control w’chair user at present) who is at our spinal rehab’ centre here in Sydney.
