I have a pressure point it was a stage 4 wound. I have a wound vac now. So tired of laying down. My question to you'll has anyone had surgery to close wound up ? th woundcare doc says there is nothing else vac can do. he said my down time would only be in hospital and that i wouldn't be in there more tham two wks. any opinions on this? also am i wrong for not wanting a surgeon who hasn't been in practice long? I was referred to have surgery with a doc who been in practice 4 yrs.
