I have had 4 Flaps done by a Plastic Surgeon & Orthopedic Sugeon. Medicaid doesn't want to keep paying for more surgeries. Depends on your Dr about how much down time. I have another sore now & it's taken way over a year to heal but now on last layer of skin. We wash with saline & mix Niostatin Oint. & Xenaderm(Generic-Allercream & top with a Guaze 4X4. It's so hard I know but hang in there. Lindaf
