Verenarda,

Awesome! helping others, and creating awareness, is not only a good for the
community, but also a good personal motivator.

I plan to research how much the increase in SCI because of violence, is
effecting or not, any increase in the number of women with SCI?

ask more questions so i just got use to saying when i was 17 i was shot by my x
boyfriend.not that i have to explain,but i don't mind since i am a speak about

People always ask, "What's wrong with you?", or "Car accident?". Had to become
immune to my sad story, especially since my reply, "I was shot.", causes mixed
reactions. Mostly, "What did you do to get shot?"

I was not surprised, saddened to read the statistics on violence being the
fastest growing cause for SCI (read link)
