I had a minor flap surgery in july and spent two weeks at Northwestern then two weeks at RIC. I as amazed at how much strength that I had lost. My 'up' time was severely restricted. I used to be 'up' 12-16 hrs a day-no problem. I'm now at 6hrs then 1 hr off then back up. I'm using a Roho where I was just using a foam cushion before. I just finished my outpatient PT/OT today. Now i have to put what they did into a new daily routine. I'm c6/7, 39 years post injury. The flap was the first for me. Best of Luck. listen to the dr., nurse, aides, anyone who soundslike they're giving you good advise. Tom

I had a wound 'down there' that took 2 surgeries to close. It was a long, trying time from start to finish. I hope yours goes better. So depressed.
