I have a supra pubic and in the past when I have had urine leaking from my stomach, it was because my balloon didn't have enough fluid in it. My urologist told me to put about 10 cc in the balloon, but you might want to check with your doctor before doing so. I used to use about 8 cc and that worked out pretty well.
I'm lucky in that I can almost always tell when my bladder isn't draining properly. I don't know much about the sling procedure, but it would definitely help to get some advice from some of the women who have had the procedure.
