My husband and I were really PO'd that Obama's healthcare plan passed. It
is/was supposed to pass BOTH the House and the Senate and we really did not
think it would pass both but with some underhand shady dealings by Obama and
the Democrats... it slipped through. It is a constitutional thing that
bothers us. The decision was made by Obama and, by damn, according to him it
was going to happen. No ifs, ands or buts. After he got his way I him
gloating yesterday. In other words... "I can do anything in 50% of the
American people or more could not stop me."

I heard so many people calling in on the news yesterday morning (we never
watch the liberal news so this morning was a rare event) and there were
sooooooooooo many people disgusted with what happened and with Obama's
government since elected after sworn into office over a year ago. We are
included in that bunch of people and all I can say is that we are in for a
long ride and not necessarily a good one.

For people who actually work for a living... their income taxes are going to
climb significantly to pay for this national health care plan.

But to answer your question Paul, I guess we just have to see if and how
many cuts there will be for both Medicare and Medicaid. I am only on
Medicare and the 1999 cuts hurt me badly so anything worse (and this stupid
plan) is going to hurt me again. Once a plan or a law is signed... it takes
a long time for each and every step to be implemented and it is usually in
the government's favor. So, will it affect Medicare and how? Probably yes
but who knows exactly when and how much, etc. We will be the last ones to
know until it bites us in the butt!

Bill (from the SCIC group) used to have this under his name - "If you think
health care is expensive now... wait till you see how much it costs when
it's free." He has had this under his signature for almost 2 years and now
it *has* come to pass much we are going to pay for this Obama plan.

My OPINION and nothing more.
