I have had numerous repairs done: motors, electrical etc. This is my fourth permobil and it just seems the quality has really gone downhill. More importantly, I ordered this RS seating unit. I have been using it for a year and since I have developed monumental lumbar problems. Perhaps it is coincidental, but my discs are herniated and displaced, I have Arachnoitis and my T1 vertebrae is dangerously close to puncturing the main aortic artery. I am 20 years post and the probability leans toward normal (abnormal?) aging as a C5 quad. All this started however, when I got into this RS seating unit. Permobil has stopped manufacturing this seating unit both here and in EUR. Just wanted to take a reality check.
