My ex-boyfriend, C5-6 quad, used to take Hydrocodone regularly for pain. After going to a new general practitioner, he was taken off the Hydrocodone and given an Rx for the Fentanyl patch. Just throwing this out there if anyone runs into complications with using Hydrocodone regularly. Make some memories...

This pain Doctor was very compassionate and listened to me and asked good questions. He doubled the strength of the Hydrocodone to the highest strength and gave my pennsaid a topical medication to put directly on where it hurts the most. I had an MRI last month on my neck and it was discovered that my syrinx (fluid based syct) had grown quite a bit since 2005 from just C 5 to C 4 down to C 7 which is causing a lot of my pain. My shoulder has artritis and cronic teniditis in the rotator cuff. I go to see this pain Doctor in one month to see how I'm doing. I had to pee in a cup and will need to each visit - fine with me.
