Congrats Bobbie! You are not the first nor will you be the last with
pain, discomfort and the lack of relief.
You know the government is cracking down on doctors who prescribe strong
pain meds and the abuses in the marketplace with those same drugs. There is
a new protocol for doctors and pharmacy agents who dispense those drugs.
To date, I believe it applied only to the stronger pain meds.
Wish you the Best!
Best Wishes

Hi All,
I went back to Kessler to see the pain management Doctor - the week
prior I had to first see a psychologist who was an ass. This pain Doctor was
very compassionate and listened to me and asked good questions. He doubled
the strength of the Hydrocodone to the highest strength and gave my
pennsaid a topical medication to put directly on where it hurts the most.
I had an MRI last month on my neck and it was discovered that my syrinx
(fluid based syct) had grown quite a bit since 2005 from just C 5 to C 4
down to C 7 which is causing a lot of my pain. My shoulder has artritis and
cronic teniditis in the rotator cuff.
I go to see this pain Doctor in one month to see how I'm doing. I had to
pee in a cup and will need to each visit - fine with me.
