Ooh, ooh, ooh, I want one! I miss having orgasms… Having broken my neck at 15
I interrupted the best years of “chronic masturbation” J (Ahh those victoria
secret mags…)

Seriously, please let us/me know what she says.

Subject: [QUAD-L] On sexuality... Mental Orgasms

I co-facilitate a monthly men's disability "support group." This month we have
a guest speaker who has received her Phd in studying mental orgasms. She
insists this works with those who have spinal cord injuries. I will let you
all know what she has to say. Below is her description of her presentation:

Mental Orgasms
Dr. Chelsie Reed, PhD, LPC

Orgasms have been used as a medical aid to relieve physical pain, fatigue,
stress, emotional discomfort, and much more to sooth the body and mind.
Having orgasms over time also help decrease risks of cancers, increase immune
functioning and provide a plethora of health benefits. Mental orgasms, a
purposeful orgasm by thought alone, are another type of orgasm which can
provide the same physical and emotional response without the need for physical
stimulation. Also, mental orgasms are unique in having been shown to "jump" the
spinal cut to allow men and women with spinal cord injuries to have full
erections and orgasms - yes, a full physical orgasm produced by thought alone!

I look forward to seeing you next Thursday,
Chelsie
