Yes, as long as it has not popped.
The burn doc told me to try and get the skin off if it has popped. It keeps germs from getting in and not being able to clean it out.
I spilled a hot drink on my lap and had to go in, it was pretty ugly. Still got scars. It was a blister that was about 8x3 a space then a 4x4 area. That was my worst one ever. I use to have a wood stove in Seattle and I would get small dime size blisters quite often. I would try pushing in the damper lever with my fist and the knob would slip through my fingers and I ended up touching the metal rod. I knew to watch for it, yet I still burned myself all the time.
