I support you Don and anyone else that uses that information in the study to
further the cause. I actually know of few that have chosen to dedicate their
professional lives in the area of spinal cord injuries as most insurance
companies don't see the need and will not pay. And this is truly sad.

Now I did visit the site survey and noticed that someone who takes the
survey, might.... just might win the opportunity to a 200 dollar Visa Card. I
don't know what the odds are as it was not stated. The survey did not list any
of the National Spinal Cord hospitals as endorsements. That would be nice.
Nor did it acknowledge any approval from our esteem host and site owner: Jim
Lubin.

What a day to take a survey, Valentine Day.
  Best Wishes

If Shanna is studying to get her degree to help those of us with spinal
cord injuries [whether psychology, PT, OT or Medical,] I will support her
efforts. If helping those of us with SCI earn her a decent living wage, say
more power to her--she's earned it.

I understand that there are people out there who take advantage and
greedily prey on people with disabilities, but in my opinion requests such as
this are not in that category.

I'll be happy to look at the survey and fill it out if I can be of help.
Good luck with your degree, Shanna.

    Don.

    Greetings Shanna,
You are not the first, nor with you be the last to enlist members here for
your study. Each year around this time of the season the Quad-List receives
several requests for us to share tangible information so that people like
yourself can graduate and make tons of money, while many here are barely living
at the poverty level.. just to survive. May I ask..
Is your present study supported by the National Spinal Cord Assoc as an
approved study?
Is your present study supported by any of the national disAbility programs
or support groups?

I personally haven't taken the time yet to visit your survey, but it would
be nice to see that some kind of benefit would be available to those who are
supplying you with the information for your survey to graduate and make tons of
money. I hope you never, never forget those who supported your study.

    Best Wishes

Hello everyone and happy Valentine's day! I am writing because I need
participants for a study I am doing for my doctorate in psychology. Not sure
if any of you meet the qualifications or if you have looked at my survey but
your help would be appreciated. For those that have looked at it or completed
the survey thank you. I have posted the qualifications and the link for the
survey below. Thanks again!

      Shanna

The focus is on how couples in which the male has a spinal cord injury
cope and how the coping style affects various aspects of life. This study is
done online and can be completed at your convenience. To qualify you must meet
the following qualifications 1) you are a male with a spinal cord injury; 2)
you are over the age of 18; 3) you have been injured at least 2 years and 4)
you have been married for at least 6 months. The questionnaire needs to be
completed separately by you and your spouse. Upon completion of the
questionnaire both you and your spouse will be entered for a chance to win a
