Hello peoples...

Several months ago I suggested the quad list to another female quad
(high-level--incomplete). Her name is Kathy.

She is already subscribed to the list but asked me to post the following for
her for right now.

She has had an adaptive keyboard that she has loved since 1997. But you'll
read her current dilemma and questions that she has for any of you below.

Hopefully someone will have some answers for her!

The keyboard she is currently using

can be seen on the link below. And the rest of her comments and her inquiry
about finding an adaptive keyboard is further below.

This membrane keyboard that I use now has a very small working surface. You
can see that from the picture. I don't know how well the link tells you the
size.

The guy who invented the keyboard has mine but he can't find the right
solvent to remove the glue from the old keyboard tags. So I guess that is
the holdup. I really don't know if he will ever get it fixed.

I am looking for another adaptive mini keyboard. I have used the EKEG mini
since 1997. But it is no longer on the market. I have been in touch with
the man who invented it. Apparently there is not much of a market for his
keyboard. But I do love it.

The working space is about 8 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches high... very
small. Does anyone know if there is anything anything comparable out there
besides the TASH keyboard which costs over $1000?

I'll look forward to their responses.
