The doctor was a scam artist, working with another quasi medical person who called himself a doctor. 60 Minutes proved them both wrong and no one got their monies returned. The recognized universities who are doing research in Stem Cell Therapy state that their are 200 clinics in North America offering their services to anyone with a fist full of cash. The patients can only be two weeks out from their injury. There was a lot of other criteria involved. They were looking to see if it was safe and if any of those patients developed tumors. I haven't followed up on it, but what you heard may be associated with that trial.
