Yesterday I got a new USB microphone to use with google voice and windows seven voice recognition. As soon as I plugged in the microphone I wasn't getting any noise from my speakers. Found the sound settings in windows seven, it was trying to play noise through my new microphone. Simply changed the configuration back too the speakers.
