You only use a very small drop of the maneuka honey in the wound & cover with a guaze dressing. The honey is about $18 a tube, it lasts a pretty long time. I've been using Manueka Honey which has done great. Sometimes called medihoney, I ordered mine off of Amazon.com. My woundcare Dr approved it, now I have it almost gone we are using Pomagran & dry dressing.
