I'll reserve comment until the specialist has seen it. Unlike a cut, a
pressure wound must heal from the bottom up.

I got a small sore just next to my tail bone. At first it was dime size
and shallow. It had that white/gray dead flesh in the center. The wound has
closed up size, but gotten deeper. We just start to get rid of the dead
stuff and then it's covered with it again. We pack it with some packing strip
stuff to keep it from closing. I have had a wound nurse coming out, but now
I'm going in to a wound clinic to see what's wrong. It's getting real deep.
we get it looking healthy, but then more dead stuff. I don't have pressure
on it, and no idea why it's doing this. It wants to close up, but I'm
told not to let it while it has dead tissue and is draining.
