I don't have a game console.... However I do play games on my computer
sometimes and I have no movement of my left arm and partial to my wrist on
my right side and when I looked into adaptive console gaming I found a
company by the name of broadened horizons that had a fair amount of stuff. I

Subject: [QUAD-L] Help with Wii Games

My friend is quadriplegic, having little control of his neck or of his
limbs. I'm trying to find games he might be able to do and have had limited
success with the Wii Fit which we just started experimenting with. What he
can do is press down on the Balance Board (which is resting on his
wheelchair tray) with his fists. In this manner he is able to progress some
with the game Heading, just trying to use the Balance Board to hit the
soccer balls and dodging the flying shoes.

Also, he has been able to manage a little of a running game by wiggling the
Wiimote to simulate it's movement in his pocket as he is running.
My question is - What other Wii games might be good for him. He has limited
strength to press down on the Balance Board and to wiggle the Wiimote but he
is unable to activate any of the Wiimote or Nunchuk switches.

Thank you for your help.

Trish
