I lost my dad back in '03. We were very close. He had been my right hand man
since I got hurt back in '71 at age 19. I wasalready prone to depression and
that nearly pushed me over the edge. I just did not want to live any more even
though I still had my mother and two kids. Finally my doc put me on
anti-depressants. I tried two or three that didn't work and finallysettled on
Paxil. It has made a huge difference. I still get the dark cloud occasionally
but nothing like before. Talk to your doc about it.
