Ugh! I have been waiting four weeks for my wheel chair. Supposedly it was because the medical equipment place had trouble with my insurance. Now it will be another two weeks for them to place the order and have it delivered to them. To us, my husband and me, it seemed like they had forgotten us because the only time we heard from them was after we called them which had been about once a week or so. The last time, I needed a chair, it took three days, but it was a different company. So, I hoped that some of the list members would share how long it took them to get their wheel chairs or other medical equipment. I have technically been without a chair because my last one was unusable because the leg rests snapped off. The first one went a while ago, but I managed to continue to use it. Then the other one snapped off leaving a sharp edge which made the chair unusable. I have learned to walk again, and on my good days, I do okay. Last night was not a good day and I almost fell trying to get to the bathroom. It made me so angry because I had waited so long and still did not have the chair.
