Thanks Joan! I have another strange Quad who does not know of the Quad-List and I wish desperately to get him to join. Your posting greatly motivates my desire to, once again, introduce this person to the List. Thanks Again! Best Wishes In a message dated 5/25/2012 1:13:11 P.M. We just have to remember, we are all very different and although we have “ quadom” in common we often do not share medical problems. Just as my oldest daughter has COPD and asthma and requires oxygen 24/7, none of my other children have similar problem. At 73, complete C4, and 21 ½ year post injury I still do intermittent cath and never have had a serious UTI. But that is not to say it is due to anything I have done, I’m just extremely fortunate, my ailments are so far of normal aging and not something due to being a quad with the exception of a wound that I have had for seven years and with the support of a great Dr. and a good wound care group I am able to have a great life. This forum is fantastic to share things, problems and answers: but the end result is going to be different for everyone one of us.
