Thanks Joan!  I have another strange Quad who does not know of the  
Quad-List and I wish desperately to get him to join.  Your posting greatly  
motivates my desire to, once again, introduce this person to the List.

At  73, complete C4, and 21 ½ year post injury I still do intermittent cath 
and  never have had a serious UTI.  But that is not to say it is due to  
anything I have done, I’m just extremely fortunate, my ailments are so far of  
normal aging and not something due to being a quad with the exception of a  
wound that I have had for seven years and with the support of a great Dr. 
and  a good wound care group I am able to have a great life. 
This  forum is fantastic to share things, problems and answers: but the end 
result  is going to be different for everyone one of us.
