Hi All,
In this episode one of the para's that had a blood clot in her spine when
she was 15 was having her Mother visit her after not seeing her for over 2
years. Their bond was not very good and the very first thing the Mother said to
her after her disabled daughter opened the door was "..… your still in the
wheelchair"? Also, to the camera the Mother stated that ".… I wish she had died
when she got sick." This brought to mind how the girl up-stairs, Dawn, is with
her own Mother. Dawn's Mother constantly told her that "… you've ruined
everything." and wouldn't ever let her sit at the kitchen table or any dining
table because "… it looks awful" Now, after 29+ years they are close. But the
Mother has only been to her apartment maybe 3 or 4 times since 1995 and she
lives about 20 miles away.
Also, I was reading on the internet that the one girl who is a C-4,5 quad
had stem cell surgery within 24 hours of her car accident giving her, what
looks like C-5,6 quad results.
