I'm still looking as well Quadius. Seen one years ago but didn't get the product name or info. I need one for a travel trailer that is equipped with a WC Lift. The Hoyers I have seem are too large and bulky.

I was speaking to another quadriplegic earlier this week he indicated there is a portable lift which can be put beside the bed (doesn't need to go under) so that one doesn't have to worry about a special type of bed when going into hotel rooms.

I'm looking for one of these, but I have any luck yet. Does anybody have any idea what he's talking about?

I already have the semi-portable Hoyer lift, but I do like to have one which would allow me to transfer into practically any bed so all I would have to do is carry a portable ramp for traveling purposes.
I already have a portable mattress pad which allows me to go into a normal bed and not need turning.

Most Hoyer lifts can be disassembled by loosening the stationary fastener and pulling the tower assembly from the base, for transport.  Granted, they can be bulky, but are safe.

Anyone using a folding type Hoyer sling lift that is suitable for home and travel?

Thank you,
