I'm still looking as well Quadius. Seen one years ago but didn't get the product name or info. I need one for a travel trailer that is equipped with a WC Lift. The Hoyers I have seem are too large and bulky.

I was speaking to another quadriplegic earlier this week he indicated there is a portable lift which can be put beside the bed (doesn't need to go under) so that one doesn't have to worry about a special type of
bed when going into hotel rooms.
I'm looking for one of these, but I have any luck yet. Does anybody have any idea what he's talking about? I already have the semi-portable Hoyer lift, but I do like to have one which would allow me to transfer into practically any bed so all I would have to do is carry a portable ramp for traveling purposes.
I already have a portable mattress pad which allows me to go into a normal bed and not need turning. Quadius On Mon, May 7, 2012 at 11:12 AM, <[email protected]> wrote:
Most Hoyer lifts can be disassembled by loosening the stationary fastener
and pulling the tower assembly from the base, for transport. Granted, they
can be bulky, but are safe.
