last for 10 days.   UPDATE.
I just checked New Mobility Magazine that says.... August 29 thru Sept  9th 
   4200 athletes from  165 countries, so you all  still have a chance.  I 
heard, but not confirmed the NBC-SP   (cable channel)  will air some of this 
event.  NBC Network has  exclusive rights to air both Olympics and 
Paralympics.

Speaking of sports, I read an article about the paraolymipic  games - which 
had their opening ceremonies this past Saturday - are not  going to be 
televised live in the United States. After the closing  ceremonies September 
3rd 
or 4th then they will be on TV but I have no idea  what station, I hope 
ESPN. Every other country will be televising them  live.     Bobbie
