I haven't tried that yet! *wanders off with crazed eyes* Mandy c5-7 I would rather learn from one bird how to sing than to teach 10,000 stars how not to dance. ~EE Cummings ________________________________ From: Bobbie Humphreys <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 18, 2012 12:34 PM Subject: [QUAD-L] Breaking fresh eggs Hi All, I'm making banana bread and it alls for 2 fresh eggs. When I was in rehab way back in 1973 they gave me cooking lessons at Kessler Insitute and the way they taught C-5,6 quads me/us how to crack open a fresh egg was to place an empty bowl on the table. Then pick up an egg from a dish towel (that they placed there at first) hold the egg up as high as possible, then let it drop into the bowl … hence breaking the egg. After you fish out the shells, you could now pour the egg into whatever you wanted it for. I still break eggs this way. How do you all break fresh eggs? Bobbie Sent from my iPad
