[QUAD-L] med increase

I was wondering how many mg of valium do any of you take & how often? I asked 
my doctor for 20mg @ night for spasms as opposed to 10. He said no, that it was 
too much. 2 months ago I asked him if he would increase my percocet from 3 a 
day to 4 & he said that was too much. 5mg. I've been on this dose for 10 
yrs...any opinions?
