I take three percocets (500) and two oxy's (40) per day. I've been at that level for about eight years. I don't always take all three percs, depending on the pain level that day. You may have to visit a pain specialist to find relief. As you know, many doctors are reluctant to prescribe opiates these days. I do know that as I get older, my pain seems to multiply in severity and location. As usual, every ailment is magnified with us quads. I take Xanax instead of Valium --a small dose at bedtime. I have terrible anxiety without it. Best of luck to you.
