Subject: RE: [QUAD-L] quatro section went flat-pressure sore started

I am not an expert on pressure sores, but I think you need to treat this
situation very seriously. You might need to stay off the area completely for a
while, and make sure you are turned frequently (e.g. every two hours). Do you
have a good mattress?

I had a stage 4 wound , which was at one point about the size of a baseball,
and
took over year to heal. We used Calmoseptine Lotion to finally heal the last
stages, and to keep the wound from opening again. I highly recommend the stuff.
It is available over-the-counter, from CVS pharmacy, but sometimes they need to
special order it.

Please take care of yourself. Good luck trying to find a competent wound Dr.

Subject: [QUAD-L] quatro section went flat-pressure sore started

Hi All, my quatro 4 section roho seat started going flat-it was under my left
rear area---we don't know what caused it but when we try putting air in non
goes
into that back left area, I'm trying to get a new replacement now but I have
redness with like a crease looking area in the middle but it has not opened
up??
we are trying bed balm on it now?   Is there any other products I can apply or
may need??? I have never had a pressure sore that has opened on my bottom in 15
plus years ( I hope this one does not ) I know a few of you guy's/gals have had
serious battles with this issue.  thanks for any idea's !  Dan H. **
