Wow, all this specific talk about wound care makes me wonder. I have a pressure sore on my heal that has been off and on (mostly on) for about 5 yrs. It always dries up after salt water soaking but doesn't completely go away. What does one do after it dries to a scab? I just try to keep pressure off but is there another way to speed it up?

Try to stay off it as much as possible while you have the pressure sore. This seems to work everytime for me after I get a sore. It takes about 3 weeks to get it cleared up. I do 14 hours a day on average in my chair. When I get a soar from a wrinkle or whatever I go down to 10 hours a day. Also I don't stay on my back all night, I get turned on my side about 4 hours into the night. I hope this info. helps. My pharmacy informed me that Regranex is not be manufactured anymore, And I have $100 co-pay for it. I'm using Hydrogel, but the wound needs something more effective before it starts Tunneling. Any suggestions? I heard natural bee honey works, anyone have experience with it? Me Bum is causing lousy spasms. Thanks. Sent from Billy Lang's iPad
