Bobbie, I feel for you as I've been through hell bottom-wise. From what you're explaining, you definitely need a wound clinic to get that looked after. Clear with intermittent blood is not bad, but if you begin getting a foul odor from the wound, it's bad. That odor is your tissue breaking down further. In my 25 years I've had two wounds tunnel to bone and cause bone infections. Untreated, that can kill the likes of us. If you have not already: 1) ask your Dr 2) if you don't like what he says, go to medicare.gov and search for a new Dr. Your Dr. can tell you what's covered or not as they'll have to refer/prescribe treatment.
